1. What would you say...you do here?
I like to think that I get to help the creative piece of marketing match up with the analytical side of marketing to become one beautiful banner ad or text ad. I also tell my friends I am the person they hate when they complain about unwanted ads. Also, I have an unhealthy love for watching all commercials and fangirl over unique advertising.
2. Is there something going on between you and Google? Or are you two just “friends?”
It’s a messy relationship full of love, tears, happiness, and even frustration. Some days we're friends and other days we're frenemies. We’ve been together for three and a half years so you could say things are kind of serious.
3. What is your dog's name and why haven’t you brought him into the office?!
Ozzy is my dog, he is a spunky and extremely friendly (almost too friendly) two-year-old Lab/Pit mix that loves to love on everyone he meets. He may make a guest appearance if he can keep his cool around his new friends.
4. What is your favorite part of your job?
The fun group of people I get to work with. As cliché as it may sound I have been very excited about working with a fun and intelligent group of people. I have left every day with a giant smile on my face because I feel like I am working with the best group of people. #blessed
5. If our fearless leader Roger was a dog, what kind of dog would he be?
If Roger was reincarnated into a dog, I believe he would be a West Siberian Laika. The Laika characteristics are its intelligence, agility, speed, strength, boldness, resourcefulness, alertness, adaptability, independence, cheerfulness, stubbornness, endurance, and persistence. This is not meant to inflate Rogers ego, just being very frank about my answer and perception of him as a doggo.
6. Favorite video game?
As cheesy as this may sound I love, love, LOVE the Kingdom Hearts series. It is a perfect mix of my unhealthy Disney obsession and the classic Final Fantasy characters I grew up with. I have been not so patiently waiting for the 3rd iteration of the series to be released.
7. Just how big is your vinyl collection?
Oh goodness, it is always growing. I literally received another album in the mail yesterday. My cabinet is getting full... I sense an IKEA trip in my near future for a bigger one.
8. If you had to sum yourself up in a Google search query, what would it say?
I had a little help with my best friend on this one but it would be: a small sassy woman with ever-changing hair.
9. What’s the most rewarding part about volunteering at the Arizona Animal Welfare League?
I think the most rewarding part of volunteering with AAWL is knowing that we are helping people who take tons of time out of their day to help these animals. By just putting a little of my time in to help them clean or provide for the animals makes their jobs that much easier and helps the animals be more comfortable when in that situation. Also, I found Ozzy there and like to think that other people are doing the same for this cause that helped him find a safe home.
