Beach Bound for PRSA Western District Conference

Today I’m heading to Huntington Beach where I’ll be speaking at the 2016 PRSA Western District Conference. While I’m wildly excited to see the ocean, I’m even more thrilled about the opportunity to share an abundance of marketing tools and tactics that we can all use to enhance our PR efforts.

Inspired by this year’s conference theme, The PR Futurist: Embracing Industry Evolution, I’ve gathered more than just a laundry list of tools. To stay relevant and continue to thrive in PR, we have to broaden our thinking. We must leverage the resources around us, including our colleagues, and look at how PR intersects a number of marketing disciplines.

During Saturday’s session, Beg, Borrow, Steal: Tips, Tricks & Techniques from Two Integrated Agency Insiders, my paid media counterpart, Patrick Murphy, and I will pull back the curtain at Off Madison Ave and share with you our most valued resources.

We’ll delve into tools and tactics that help hone in on target audiences, strengthen press release performance, support message distribution and allow us to better measure and optimize results. We hope you’ll leave this session with an understanding that collaboration and communication in PR has never been more critical.

The evolution of the PR industry is changing the way we approach all aspects of PR.

We are breaking down industry silos to create truly integrated campaigns that support and complement one another, rather than compete and work against each other. Won’t you join us?

Hope to see you at 9:15 a.m. Saturday.
